Three strikers? Are you sure. Even though son he is also pretty good at finishing, his skillset and playstyle better suit him for a winger. Usually, a number 9 is a little more buff and strong so they can hold against the centre backs and also have to be relatively tall for headers, or else a lot of aerial balls they recieve will be wasted. He is a great player, but I would much rather him as more of a winger than a striker, and tactically it makes more sense.

@Arran Barton you say we spend money but if you look at our net spend down the years it is minimal compared to the top teams. We were most certainly punching above our weight under Poch given how little he spent. He may not have won something but he did an incredible job considering how little backing he got. We were the only team in premier league history to go an entire calendar year without making a single signing, things were bound to get stale, basically what I am saying is, If they didn't back Poch after all he did and the position he had us in, then who will they back sufficiently?? I know we have an incredible stadium and training ground but what good is that without a team to match it? As Poch said, you need beautiful furniture to go with it. Do you think their is many Liverpool fans that would trade their recent champions league and league title for better facilities? Not at all likely! Joe Lewis is worth 4.3 billion pounds, he is enormously wealthy but he will never put any of that towards building a winning squad. The fact is the club has the money needed to make us winners.. They are just not willing to spend it. It would be different if our owners hadn't the money. It is simply just another business from which Lewis will make profits. All this is why i am convinced that we are in dire need of a takeover from wealthy and ambitious owners.
